Museum of Christian art Old Goa

This is the only museum in Asia that displays the item collection related to the advent of Christianity in the state of Goa. This museum is located in the convent of Santa Monica. It is one of the wonderful sculptures is the holy trinity that shows the descent of the Holy Spirit from Father and the son. There are various other exhibits belonging to the past centuries here. Archaeological museum

Archaeological museum is a wonderful museum located in Old Goa. This museum is well known for the antique collection. It also has the armory dating back to the rule of Portuguese. You also have the sculptures related to the Hindu deities. In the year 1964, this museum was established with the guidance of ASI [archaeological survey of India]. There are eight galleries in this museum and the sculptures date back from the prehistoric to late medieval period. One of the leading attractions of this museum is the portrait belonging to Vasco da Gama. This Portuguese explorer came to the shores of India in 1498.

Naval aviation museum

This is first of its kind in Asia located in Dabolim. This is located near the Bogmalo beach and the sensational view of the sea keeps you spellbound. You will find pictures of Goa liberation here. You will also find aircrafts and weapons here.
