Benaulim Beach Goa

Benaulim is a wonderful beach and is located at a distance of 2 km from Colva beach. This is a beach that is totally magnificent when it comes to the beauty of the nature in the form of pristine sea. As per the mythology related to Hinduism, it was created because of the arrow of Parshurama. The original name of the place was Banali but later the name was changed by Portuguese and it was called Benaulim. This is the place where you are totally free from the worldly tensions. This is the destination for fishing but it is not much explored to the extent it should have been.

The local rush
On this beach, there is a heavy rush, especially on the weekends. You can come to this beach by taking a bus from the nearby station and the bus drops you at a distance of one km from the station. On this beach, you can have the glimpse of the palm trees but if you are a dolphin lover, this is the right place for you. You can enjoy dolphin cruises here. The best part of it is that you can enjoy the cruise at a reasonable price. The chances of seeing these beautiful creatures are very high.

Food and drink
Food and drink form an important part of enjoyment on all the beaches of Goa. There are many snack joints near the beach and you can have the fresh sea food here cooked in fresh oil in these snack joints. If you are the lover of hard drinks, you can have wine, beer and fenny. Banauilm village
The village of Benaulim is known for its rosewood furniture. You can also visit church of St John the baptist. The feast of this church attracts large crowd.
